Vitruvian reality

According to Wikipedia ' the term Vitruvian stems from Leonardo Da Vinci's attempt to demonstrate through the study of art and mathematics that it is possible to establish perfect human proportions.'  This is a stark contrast to my athletic form which seeks to any such scientific explanation.

We marshaled at the 2008 Vitruvian National Long Distance Triathlon Championships at Rutland Water today an average of 6 hour swim, bike and run for about 900 athletes,  puts marathon running in context.  Well done to Mary who completed in a brilliant 5:45, even if she hurled abuse at the quality of my support for her!

Last long run in the morning and then tapering to Berlin!

Now that isn't quite true - I didn't exactly hurl abuse - I was just a little perplexed that you would turn up at the last marshall point and offer me a cup of coffee at 12 miles into the run!!? Not that I meant to be ungrateful....but?!
